Art Entr’Elles is preparing a new creative project.

The last project of the collective Art Entr’Elles was presented from 14 to 24 November 2019 at the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM)

RIDM 2019 Women Inmates’Award was given to Nîpawistamâsowin : We Will Stand Up by Tasha Hubbard.

The artists of the collective are proud to present the collective work "Enumeration," a look at female incarceration, from January 10 to March 24, 2019.

The presentation of the inmates' award at the closing ceremony of the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) took place in the presence of a representative from the Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec.

This year’s Women Inmates’ Award was presented at the closing ceremony of the Montreal International Documentary Film Festival (RIDM) by a member of the Jury and a representative of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec.

Since 2011, the Inmates Jury gathers five women incarcerated at Joliette Institution within a rigorous process of film viewing and film critique.

The collective Art Entr’Elles is presenting a serie of eleven audio-photographic portraits that address the theme of identity.

Geneviève Fortin recently published her first book of which a significant part is dedicated to the community arts – a trigger of personal and social change.

The Women Inmate’s Award is given to Examen d’État by Dieudo Hamadi.
