How can we build our identity in a society that keeps judging us based on acts from the past? The collective Art Entr’Elles – born from a collaboration between criminalized women involved in a social reintegration process and professional artists – in presenting a serie of eleven audio-photographic portraits that address the theme of identity. Every artwork is the expression of a sensation, experienced by the creators at a particular moment of their lives, and perceived as a trigger of change. The image, the voice, the expressions and the words of these women are hints about who they are, beyond appearances and stereotypes.
