The Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies (CAEFS) works to remedy the dehumanization and social exclusion of criminalized women and people of diverse gender identities.

It regroups a pan-Canadian network of 22 local societies. These local societies are located throughout the territory known as Canada, and provide essential front-line services to their respective communities. Local societies become members of CAEFS after a rigorous application process, and maintain their membership status through commitment, reporting and annual dues.

Each region builds its own advocacy team, ensuring their presence in all five women's penitentiaries across Canada.
