On October 14 and 15, 2026, the SEFQ will hold a symposium at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) focused on the realities and contemporary challenges faced by women involved in the criminal justice system. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and organizations working in the field, as well as women with firsthand experience of the criminal justice system, to synthesize scientific knowledge, practical knowledge, and experiential knowledge. A special event will also mark the 15th anniversary of the Art Entr’Elles collective. The panel discussions will be filmed and later posted on the SEFQ’s YouTube channel.
