Next summer, Art Entr’Elles will be starting its 6th project: Décliner votre identité (Unfold Your Identity).

The project proposes to a group of criminalized women and professional artists to speak out and claim their identity through a creative process implying the use of photography, writing, and sound. Participative art workshops will lead to individual or collective audio-portraits. The project will be then presented during an exhibition of all the work.

These workshops are the first step of a larger multimedia project that will build up during the next two years. The audio-portraits will be part of a web mapping process, illustrating women’s social reintegration on an interactive web site. This 2.0 art platform will become a tribune for women’s messages, an exchange of information and experiences shared among the participants and the general public.
